Three of our Hayastan Academy Judo Students have qualified to compete in the 2016 Infantile Pan American Judo and Caribbean Cup competitions. The events will be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on November 11-13. Telman Yegiazaryan (13,52kg), Sariuna Tsyzhipova(15,52kg) Nazareth Chukulyan(12,38kg) are all top ranked competitors in their respective age and weight divisions in the United States. All three Hayastan Academy students will compete in the event. Unfortunately, the United States Judo Association is unable to fund the parents for these tournaments. When all the events are added up, it is very costly for the parents of these amazing students to be able to have their sons or daughters compete in every single competition. Without doing so, they risk losing points, ranking positions, and participation in other major tournaments.
For this reason, we are fortunate enough to work with a 501, Non-Profit Organization (United States Athletic Charity) who has set up a grant for these students to be able to compete in the tournaments. The USAC is looking for donors/sponsors who are willing to donate any amount, which will help the students, compete in November. It is important to understand that all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Individuals or groups who donate will receive a USAC invoice sheet.
If you would like to donate, please send a check made payable to the United States Athletic Charity. Address: 7229 Atoll Ave, North Hollywood, Ca 91605.
We are working on establishing a link for online donations on www.gokor.com. Please remember all proceeds will go to the students competing ONLY (transportation, lodging, tournament registration, Parent or Guardian). We wish all the best to our wonderful students and anticipate them coming back to the academy with 3 GOLD MEDALS.
